⚽ Match 1: Amigos C vs Amigos D

The tournament began with Amigos C taking on Amigos D.

As the first match of the day, both teams approached the game carefully and defensively. The bright sunlight and warm conditions at Chinsurah 3rd Ground also made the game physically demanding.

Despite the slower pace, there was certainly no shortage of intensity.

Both teams went end to end, creating opportunities and testing each other's defence. However, neither side could find the breakthrough.

After a competitive opening game, the match finished:

Amigos C 0–0 Amigos D

Man of the Match: Souvik

A goalless draw, but a strong start to the tournament.

⚡ Match 2: Amigos A vs Amigos B

The second match was a completely different story.

Amigos A started aggressively and quickly found the opening goal through Samridhya.

Amigos B tried to recover and maintain the intensity, but A continued to control the game and eventually found another goal before half-time — again through Samridhya.

The second half continued at a high tempo. Both teams created opportunities, but Samridhya completed his incredible performance by scoring his third goal of the match.

A hat-trick in a tournament match!

Amigos A 3–0 Amigos B

Man of the Match: Samridhya

A's attacking performance immediately put them in a strong position in the tournament.

🔥 Match 3: Amigos B vs Amigos D

If the second match was dominated by goals, the third was all about intensity and tactics.

Amigos B and D started carefully, with both teams focusing on their defensive organisation.

The game quickly became an end-to-end battle. Chances came at both ends, with neither side willing to give the opponent an easy opportunity.

But eventually, one moment decided the entire match.

Akash found the breakthrough for Amigos D.

Despite B's efforts to respond, D held on until the final whistle.

Amigos B 0–1 Amigos D

Man of the Match: Akash

One goal. Three points.

🛡️ Match 4: Amigos A vs Amigos C

The fourth match brought together two strong sides — Amigos A and Amigos C.

It was another high-intensity, end-to-end encounter.

Both teams defended well while also creating chances going forward. There were several promising opportunities, but the finishing touch was missing.

The defensive organisation on both sides kept the scoreline untouched.

After another hard-fought battle:

Amigos A 0–0 Amigos C

Man of the Match: Prabash & Samridhya

A's unbeaten run continued, while C still had everything to play for.

😮 Match 5: Amigos B vs Amigos C

The final league match carried huge importance for Amigos C.

C needed a win to remain in the qualification race, while Amigos B were already out of contention. But that didn't mean B were ready to simply give up.

For B, this was a match of honour.

C started strongly and eventually found the opening goal through Kunal.

With qualification on the line, C increased the pressure and created several chances. However, they couldn't convert those opportunities into a second goal.

And then came the twist.

Right at the end of the match, Sauvik scored for Amigos B!

The unexpected equaliser completely changed the mood of the game.

The final whistle soon followed.

Amigos B 1–1 Amigos C

Man of the Match: Souvik & Sumit

The result meant that Amigos A and Amigos D finished with enough points to secure their places in the final.

🏆 THE FINAL: AMIGOS A vs AMIGOS D

Everything came down to one final match.

Amigos A vs Amigos D.

The final was easily the most intense game of the tournament.

Neither team wanted to concede. Both sides played with a strong defensive approach, while long balls, long goal kicks, long-range attempts and physical battles became a major part of the game.

There were chances at both ends.

But the organised defending from both teams kept the score level.

After a tense battle, the final whistle arrived with the scoreboard still showing:

Amigos A 0–0 Amigos D

The tournament couldn't be decided in normal time.

It was time for the tiebreaker.

😱 The Tiebreaker Drama

Both teams had four kicks.

Amigos D went first.

D: ❌ ❌ ❌ ❌
A: ❌ ❌ ❌ ❌

Four kicks.

Four misses.

Nobody could believe it.

The tournament went into sudden death.

D's Rudit stepped up first and missed.

Then Samridhya took A's kick — and also missed.

The pressure was enormous.

D's Deep stepped up next.

Another miss.

And then came Prabash.

One kick.

One chance.

One moment to decide the tournament.

GOAL! ⚽🏆

❤️ More Than Just Football

But ultimately, the Chinsurah Amigos Annual Tournament wasn't only about the trophy.

It was about spending a day together.

We played football.
We competed.
We argued.
We laughed.
We gossiped.
We made fun of each other.
We celebrated.
We missed chances.
We scored goals.

And most importantly, we played for friendship.

For one day, the Chinsurah 3rd Ground became more than just a football ground. It became the place where Amigos created another shared memory.

Maybe years from now, we'll forget some of the scores.

Maybe we'll forget who missed which penalty.

But we'll remember this day.

20 September 2026.

Four teams.
One trophy.
Countless moments.

This wasn't just a tournament.

It was an Amigos day.

And one day, we'll look back at this and say:

"We were there."

Chinsurah Amigos — Football, Friendship & Memories. ❤️⚽
